At RK Designs, we make the process of choosing your custom invitations worthwhile and enjoyable!

Consultation…
We start by booking a consultation, where you can come in and see some existing samples, colour swatches, accessories and embellishments, as well as finishes and add-ons. This is where we would talk about timing, budget, details about the wedding (i.e, colour scheme, theme, personal touches, etc.) and come up with a perfect and custom choice for you wedding invitation suite. Have an idea in mind or inspired by something you saw on Pinterest or Instagram? You’re more than welcome to bring your inspiration with you!

Booking and Digital Proofs…
After our consultation, we’ll send you a quotation with the details listed from our meeting. If you decide to move forward and book with RK Designs, we require a 25% deposit so we can head to our drafting boards and start designing! Within a week we will send you a digital proof for the entire invitation suite. During this time we perfect the digital proof until you are ready to sign off on the final suite design.

Samples and Production…
Once everything is approved and ready to proceed with. RK Designs will start preparing the files for print and production. Because each project is hand-crafted with close attention to detail, we require a minimum of 2 weeks* time to assemble the invitation suites. (*depends on quantity and complexity of the suite). Should you require a printed sample* to assess chosen paper and final look of the suite, there will be a minimum fee of $20 (depending on style of printing, RK Designs won’t be able to produce a printed sample)

Pick Up and Payment…
Upon completion of the invitations, you will receive the final invoice and we will schedule a pick up date and time that suits you best. At this time, the remaining balance should be paid in full by either cheque, cash, e-transfer or credit card*
*Credit card payment will be subject to additional service charges (between 2.65% and 3.4% per transaction)

Pricing…
Although we work with budget, some invitations styles have set prices. For example, any invitation that includes a pocket fold starts at $4.85 and any laser cut invitation starts at $5.95. All quotations will be sent with sub-total pricing. All applicable taxes will be applied on final invoice.
